Quoting the admirable Miss Grant from the 80's TV show "Fame". You want English? Well, English costs, and here's where you start paying the price... in sweat. We all know English pronunciation is a stumbling block (THE stumbling block, should I say) for Spanish learners, but as you can see in this scene from the sequel to "The Pink Panther", it seems that the French have an even harder time! I can't figure out, for the life of me, how McDonalds has managed to sell gazillions of am-bir-gers despite the obvious difficulties in pronunciation for its French clientele. Riddles of modern life, I guess...
Haha! It's a funny video, I really like it because, every time I ask my muslim friend in class how to pronounce any sentence in arabic, I'm like inspector Clouseau. Our Portuguese teacher showed us a similar video, in Portuguese, however, but I think it will still be funny. Here is it:
